Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Engineering graduate with a focus on mechanical product design, CAD modelling, manufacturing and design for manufacturability. Engineering design experience combined with practical manufacturing exposure, covering both product development and production processes.

Led the mechanical design of a shape-morphing aerial–aquatic drone as a final year project — a vehicle that reconfigures to operate in air and underwater. Scope covered CAD development, structural and mechanism design, component integration, rapid prototyping and manufacturing validation.

Industrial training at Moonstar India gave hands-on experience across the transformer manufacturing process: core assembly, coil winding, insulation, TIG weld inspection, electrical testing, quality inspection and production documentation. Supplier factory visits covered injection moulding of the moulded components.

Works primarily in SolidWorks, Fusion 360 and AutoCAD, producing mechanical components, assemblies, manufacturing drawings and engineering visualisations. Seeking opportunities in mechanical design, product development and manufacturing engineering, contributing across the engineering lifecycle from concept development to production.
